Project Experience

Typical recent and ongoing projects include:

 

ConocoPhillips

  • Performed preliminary survey for a new 10" pipeline. Also provided construction staking and as-built services. This project was approximately 30 miles located in Tulsa and Wagner counties of Oklahoma. 

 

  • Performed many depth surveys in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado and Oklahoma, were we located the existing pipelines and collected GPS data to record the depth of each location every 100' or 300' depending on the topography.  We also collected features such as road crossings, fences, foreign line, CP, water and utility crossings. 

 

  • Set AGRs and marker plates and collected GPS data for each on various pipeline systems in preparation for pig runs.  Also assisted with pig tracking and after the pig run data was interpreted we also staked the repair locations and recorded the repairs. 

 

  • Staked out and collected as-built data for numerous relocation projects in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Missouri.

 

  • Located,  staked and collected GPS data for a gathering system in Young County, Texas. Also set and collected GPS data for AGRs every mile in preparation of various pig runs

 

  • Located, staked and collected GPS data for a many gathering systems all over the state of California.

  • Support ConocoPhillips with GPS training and GPS technical support for their entire system.  

 

Explorer Pipeline Company.

  • Support Explorer Pipeline with all types of GPS requests. We provide GPS training and GPS technical support for many of Explorer's operations personnel. We assist with purchasing and specifying various types of GPS equipment and associated software.

 

  • Establish AGR locations and provide GPS data for each for pig runs.

 

  • Stake anomaly repairs based on pig vendor data, and collected as-built data for each anomaly repair.

 

SemGas, L.P.

  • Performed preliminary surveys and prepared alignment sheets and property plats for approximately 20 miles of new 10" pipeline in Edwards County, Kansas.  Performed construction staking and collected as-built information. 

 

  • Providing construction-staking services for a new tank storage facility in Cushing,Oklahoma.  Provided topographic data for engineering design of the tank facility. Also provided tanks for each of the existing tank dikes to prepare tank dike volumes. This work was performed with GPS and total stations.

  • Assist with routing of new proposed pipelines. We prepare maps with land ownership data and topographic backgrounds to support ROW efforts. We collect preliminary GPS data to assist with routing.  Also prepare alignment sheets and plats.

 

SemCrude, L.P.

  • Collected GPS data on various pipeline systems to assist SemCrude with getting accurate data in a GIS system. Located many miles of existing pipelines and collected GPS data to create accurate centerline locations.

  • Assist with all phases of the integrity program.  Establish AGR locations and collection accurate GPS data for each, track pigs, stake repair locations and provide GPS as-built data for each location.  We have assisted SemCrude with this type of work in Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.  

 

Southwestern Energy Company

  • Provided inspection services for the construction of 10 miles of 8-inch steel pipeline in Yell and Logan County, Arkansas.  Providing a GPS as-built crew to collect data during construction.  Developed new alignment sheets with aerial photography and new fabrication drawings. Also prepared data books that included all the x-rays, hydrotest records and weld map, and material records.

 

  • Providing inspection services for the construction of 6 miles of 8-inch steel pipeline in Yell County, Arkansas.  Providing a GPS as-built crew to collect data during construction.  Developed new alignment sheets with aerial photography and new fabrication drawings. Also prepared data books that included all the x-rays, hydrotest records and weld map, and material records.

 

Great Lakes Gas Transmission - JRJ Energy Services                         

  • Subcontracted by JRJ Energy Services to perform as-built data collection and as-built documentation for the Great Lakes Annual Rehabilitation Program.  The as-built data was sent to our Tulsa office for conversion to a customized coordinate system and to be sorted into GIS tables and project books.

 

Gateway Services Group

  • Collected GPS data for various well locations in Oklahoma. 

 

  • GPS as-built of 12 miles of 12-inch in Maverick County, Texas.

 

  • Collected information and developed plats for new cell towers and cell tower additions in Arkansas and Texas.

                       

PACE Consulting, LLC.

  • Provided mapping, facility drawing, and other support services for various projects in Wyoming and Texas.  Assisted with the implementation of BlueSky and produced alignment sheets utilizing the BlueSky software.

  • Staked and stationed centerline and ROW for 11 miles of 6-inch steel pipeline in Real and Edwards County, Texas. Provided a materials person to assist with purchasing, expediting, receiving and logistics for pipeline and station projects in Wyoming and Texas.

 

RedRock Exploration

  • Located and staked new well locations in Osage County, Oklahoma.  Utilized GPS equipment to map existing features and to show locations of new roads and new wells and added all data to an overall GIS map.  Also developed plats for each well for permitting.   

 

Fluor

  • Provided assistance with routing and the development of property plats for 10 miles of 18-inch pipeline in Kay County, Oklahoma.

 

Basic Systems, Inc. - JRJ Energy Services, LLC  

  • As-built data collection utilizing a total station and GPS equipment for various pipelines ranging in size from 2” to 20” in St. Clair County, Michigan.  Also developed new as-built alignment sheets as well as new fabrication drawings.

 

  • As-built data collection utilizing a total station and GPS equipment for 3.75 miles of steel pipeline in McComb County, Michigan. Also developed new as-built alignment sheets and new fabrication drawings.

 

ENGlobal Engineering, Inc.

  • Provided as-built services for the ConocoPhillips Bass Pro Relocate and the JAD Development relocation projects.  Performed an as-built survey during construction to show location of each weld number, x-ray number, all materials, depth of cover, and tie-in locations.  Provided ENGlobal with weld maps, updated as-built alignment sheets and provided the mapping group with data to update GIS records.

 

  • Provided one call line locating services for the ConocoPhillips pipeline system from Hominy, Oklahoma to Afton, Oklahoma. 

 

  • Performed as-built services on 12 miles in Brazoria County, Tx.

 

  • Collected tank dike information to perform volume calculations total station for 40 sites in Texas and Oklahoma.

 

Quicksilver Resources, Inc.

  • As-built data collection utilizing a total station and GPS equipment for 20 miles of 8-inch steel pipeline in Meade County, Kentucky.  Recorded each weld location and associated x-ray number and documented material and material changes. Prepared new as-built alignment sheets as well as new fabrication drawings.


  • Collect all as-built information for a major gas gathering system in the Barnett Shale. Utilize various types of GPS equipment including both survey and mapping grade to capture weld information, pipe transition, all appurtenances, depth of cover and fabrication details etc. All data is provided back to Quicksilver in a job book format as well in an electronic version in shape files to update the overall GIS system.  Performed all pipe tallies and prepared pipe tally reports as well weld maps and compile job books for each.
